Salary Range: $25-32/hr DOE

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to perform general carpentry repairs, drywall installation and finishing for commercial and residential remodeling projects. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong commitment to quality workmanship, and excellent communication abilities. Occasional painting duties may be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform general repair work including siding, trim, cabinetry, and door/window installation
  • Install, patch, and finish drywall (taping, mudding, sanding, and surface preparation)
  • Measure, cut, and install building and finishing materials accurately
  • Prepare surfaces and apply primer, paint, stain, or coatings to walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly manage leftover materials
  • Follow safety protocols and handle on-site challenges efficiently
  • Assist with inventory tracking and organizing materials and equipment in shops/trailers.
  • Maintain tools and ensure work meets building codes and safety standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical & General Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs of supplies and equipment
  • Ability to kneel, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in drywall and/or carpentry preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with local building codes and OSHA safety standards
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to pass a background check
